At its annual meeting on November 2, 2012, AMTEA elected the following new officers/directors:

• Treasurer – Jeremy Zelkowski, University of Alabama, 2012-2014
• Member-at-Large – Tod Beers, State Department of Education, AMSTI, 2012-2014
• Member-at-Large – Megan Burton, Auburn University, 2012-2014
• Member-at-Large – Calli Holoway, University of Alabama, 2012-2014

Purpose: To discuss the development of an “elementary mathematics specialist” certification
